21-01-2011 · Spira Shortlisted for Prestigeous Econsultancy Award

econsultancy awardSpira have been shortlisted as one of four winners from the many high-profile nominations for Econsultancy's Innovation Award in Content Management Systems.

Competitors included organisations such as the BBC Future Media and Technology, Lloyds of London and Sunday Publishing.

The project specifically nominated was My Money Steps which was delivered to Barclaycard and the Money Advice Trust in late 2010.

Spira designed and developed a highly innovative approach to a significant social issue (and to 'content management'), which has enabled Money Advice Trust to populate an online debt management solution offering quality, personalised advice to consumers.

The solution (mymoneysteps.org) utilises powerful content managed rules, questionnaires and calculations engines to help guide consumers out of debt by offering dedicated advice that is entirely based on the user's financial and situational circumstances. It enables users to create an action plan, nurtures them to regularly update their details and generates industry-standard financial reports (CFS) that can be used to negotiate repayment plans with creditors.

The full details of the capabilities of the system can be viewed in our news article.
